Virginia

We are in Chesapeake, VA, a small city south of Norfolk on the Intracoastal Waterway. Secret Passion is docked in an area between the "Great Bridge" and a small lock. Apparently this was a Revolutionary War battlefield; sometimes at night you can still hear the muskets and cannon...no, wait, that was just a dream I had last night.
We plan to depart tomorrow morning for Ocean City, MD, and from there to New York and finally Rhode Island to see our friends for awhile. Following RI, we plan to visit the Chesapeake again on our way south, and stop by Washington DC to see Jerry's nieces Karen and Heather and families.
If you double-click on the photos, they will enlarge for you. You see here the Great Bridge, and Secret Passion resting and a bit travel-weary, much like the geese. Also a shot of the local republicans advertising their bummer stickers...
Laters!
